The Discovery
Chapter One
He pushed the button on his lower arm to activate his Comms. “Admiral Have Reinforcements arrived, I sense Force Sensitive’s closing in” He spoke as he fought through a hallway of Droids and Super Battle Droids with his Sabre. “Yes General, Sensors have picked up, Seven Republic Cruisers; the signatures are of General’s Skywalker, Kenobi and Unduli...We just the Weapon Guidance System!” She shouted. Jace was close to the area. “I will deal with it” He spoke as he made his way to the room housing the Guidance system.
Meanwhile the seven republic cruisers exit hyperspace and opened fire upon the attacking Separatist fleet. The view of the smouldering Cruiser with plumes of smoke radiating from the breaches of its hull, Ahsoka’s face showed shock but could not believe it was a place of a battle. “Master, do you think Master Landor is safe” She spoke her blue eyes showed worry. Anakin looked at her. “I know Jace and he will be alive and fighting back” he walked to the holotable with Obi-wan, Luminara with her Padawan Barriss Offee. “Masters, Padawan Offee, my pilots are away and fighting, I suggest we get transports over to Jace’s Ship and assist with a Evacuation of the ship” Anakin spoke. “One problem with that plan Anakin, we can’t reach Jace on Comms....” Obi-wan interrupted by a voice. “Well you took your time, Commander Jok it holding the main forces with his troops in the hanger, I am in the Weapon Guidance Room fixing the Weapon for defence, though i feel the ship is lost, i will need transports for Evac and pickups for Pods” He spoke as Droids entering the room he is in and deflecting the laser blasts.
“Admiral, set off the Alarm, the Ship is lost, get all personal to pod, Commander i am on my way to help take the hanger back for Evac” He ordered as he cut down droids. Anakin blinked at Jace’s jump in and looked at his old master and nodded. “Admiral get transports ready and tractor beams ready for pick up, keep the heat up on the Separatists” He Ordered as he and Ahsoka ran to the hanger.
Mean while Jace reached the hanger using the force to push a few droids away before they closed in on the troopers and the Commander. “General, pod have been launched Naval Officers and Personal are away, just the troops and you in the hanger” The female Admiral spoke. “Thank you, push forward, try and reclaim any use able Transports and ensure not to damage them” Jace Ordered. Jok Nodded. “All Troops lets teach those clankers, not to mess with us, Charge!” Commander Jok says rallying the troopers. As they all stand one Clone shuts. “Eat Laser, Clanker”. Jace rushes in front deflecting any blaster fire from the droids with his orange sabre, as they do the hanger doors open with Gunships flying in the shield was still up protecting the Jedi and his men from Space’s exposure. From the Gunship leap two Jedi, assisting in defeating the Droids. “Okay all troops on the Transports that are not damaged or the gunships, Move” Jace ordered. He smiled at Anakin and his Padawan Ahsoka. “Thanks” he said as he held the rail just as the gunship lifts off from the hanger to Anakin’s Cruiser. The Separatists had fled half their fleet destroyed or disabled.
Aboard the bridge of Anakin’s Cruiser all the Jedi were in person consulting on the next course of action. “Zana should still be on Hoth, no Ship left during the battle, nor did feel her presence in the force leave the system” Jace spoke, his hazel eyes shift around the Jedi with him, his hood was down letting his face be seen. Ahsoka looked at Jace. “Then why are we waiting here, lets down there” She spoke gently but bashfully. Jace shook his head. “She would have put up traps waiting for us.” Anakin answered “but it is the best Idea if we do not she will get away” Luminara placed her view across. “Then let’s do it, Me, Anakin and Obi-wan know what she is likely to do if were split in to team of three, me, Ahsoka and Jok, Barriss with Obi-Wan and Cody and Anakin, Luminara with Rex and Gree” Jace spoke his plan.
