Upon the ice planet of Hoth, the Jedi and their troops had set up camp. Jace stood on the border of their camp. He wore his winter gear with his hood up. Ahsoka slowly walked to him and places her hand on his back. “Jace are you okay? You seem to be very stressed by what has happened” She spoke looking up at him. He turned to her with a small smile. “You noticed, to be honest I can’t Believe Zana has fallen so far, she worked with me and your master before, we all were good friends” He explained to the young Togruta. Barriss looked at the two conversing and looked down walking away to a gunship.
He looked at Barriss and then at Ahsoka, “We will be moving out soon, so prepare yourself” He spoke as he walked passed her placing his hand gently between her montrals and smiles as he passes her. Meanwhile, The Commanders and Captain are checking their weaponry. “Rex, Gree what do you know about Barriss and Ahsoka, they seem close to Landor” Jok spoke looking at them, their attention now on the Commander of the 403rd Reconnaissance Battalion. “Just after General Landor became well a General, his master General Millee Jakin, a Togruta Jedi they fought together during the Siege of Dxun after the Clankers took the moon to try and take Onderon, his master died there, and Commander Tano and Offee have been helping him get over her Death” Rex Spoke lightly looking down, he remembered the Scene of Jace holding the body of his Dead master. “It is not a scene any person wants to see when a Jedi losses their master in that way” Rex added. He looked at his brothers and then looked at the direction of Jace and Ahsoka, knowing there was more to the relationship between the two then they were letting on.
Anakin, Obi-wan and Luminara were talking about the strategy to capture Zana. “I think it is time for us to split up, and take different areas...” Anakin spoke before being stopped. “That plan will not work now, there is a snow storm coming and Zana would be in shelter by now and ready for both us and the Droids, we need to bunk down for now until the storm settles” Obi-wan spoke with wisdom. Jace looked at them and shook his head, he signalled Jok to stay and distract the others so Jace himself would search only to see Ahsoka and Barriss there on the Snow-speeders and smiles before pull his neck scarf over his mouth and climbing on the one speeder to have Ahsoka wrap her arms round his waist. Barriss blinked and looked down before starting up her Speeder as the other two do and dashes off before anyone could stop them. Anakin curses along with Obi-wan. “Ahsoka surely follows you for being reckless but I think Jace has rubbed off on them a bit too much”. Anakin looked at both Masters and shrugged.
The three Jedi stop outside of an old republic outpost, Jace climbs off the speeder first. “This would be one of the places she might set up a base if not we crash here” Jace spoke lightly; he moved the speeders closer to the entrance of the outpost. He placed his hand on the door and closed his eyes using the force to feel for life signs. It was clear and signed opening the door. “No life signs, it’s clear, and we may as well set up base here for now” He spoke softly. He used the force to get his flashlight and turned it on as he walked in with the two female Jedi. Ahsoka walked next to Jace with Barriss moving to a corridor. “I think we should check for droids” Barriss spoke lightly, Jace and Ahsoka nodded. After Barriss disappeared from sight, Ahsoka placed her hand on Jace’s shoulder moving him so he would face her before wrapping her arms around his neck before pressing her soft lips against his own, they close they eyes as they embrace each other. Barriss walked back in and her eyes widen.
